Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone during the company's "Surprise and Shine" event on Wednesday, September 9. Reportedly dubbed the iPhone Duo, the device will come in two colors, according to the latest from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
Previous rumors suggested Apple would "stay away from fun colors" for its first foldable iPhone, with a darker color coming that was described as a shade of indigo rather than black. Gurman's last-minute report appears to back up that idea, and specifically states that the iPhone Duo will come in white and dark blue.
Gurman's latest report says the starting price will be $2,000 for the base 256GB model, while the highest-capacity model will be around $3,000. Gurman adds that the iPhone Duo will "go on sale as early as October," suggesting it will be available to buy at a later date than the iPhone 18 Pro models, which are also expected to be unveiled today at Apple's "Surprise and Shine" event.
