Continued Flat Panel iMac rumors
Wil Natzel submitted a link to this Wired article which provides some new hints/rumors regarding possibly upcoming Flat Panel iMacs:
Citing an anonymous source, Munson said Apple has placed an order with an unnamed Asian manufacturer for 100,000 all-in-one computers with flat-panel screens. The order will be fulfilled in January, she said.
They speculate the order may be related to an order of iBooks... though they dismiss this due to the volume - however it could easily be related to the potential purchase by the state of Maine for iBooks in education.
