iPhone on June 29th at 6pm 'Local Time'
As it turns out, the iPhone will be sold on June 29th at 6 p.m. local time -- so East Coasters will get a full 3 hour head start over their West Coast counterparts.
A memo sent by AT&T confirmed this today:
The iPhone will go on sale on at AT&T retail stores June 29 at 6 p.m. local time in each market.

I think you can only get it in Apple Stores and AT&T stores, not online.
