I did the upgrade from 2 pro. I sense no difference. Except the 3's fall out of my ears way too easily.

Bought them. Heard no difference in sound. Ear adjustment worse. I felt I paid for nothing. So, I kept my V2 and returned them. Waste of money.

After seeing the PBP2 hit $200 a week after I bought them at full price, I'm never buying Apple headphones at initial MSRP again.

$199 is the proper MSRP for this product in 2026.

Also, buy them from Costco if you can (time up a sale).
Great company with phenomenal post purchase support on these, which effectively serves as an extended warranty.

Got two pairs of Pro2’s a couple of years ago for the wife and I using my business’ trade points programme. They’re the best earbuds I’ve had (previously had a few cheapos as well as Shures which sounded good but didn’t last long). The APP2’s are still going well, touch wood, but the $480NZD retail price is a bit over the top.
