After signing up for beta testing on Apple's beta site, public beta testers can download the updates using the Software Update section in the System Settings app.

We don't know about any new features in ‌macOS Tahoe‌ 26.3 as of yet, but Apple might introduce new capabilities in later beta releases.

The beta is limited to developers and public beta testers at the current time, but we are expecting Apple to release the update at the end of January.

Speaking of rounded corners this post ('https://noheger.at/blog/2026/01/11/the-struggle-of-resizing-windows-on-macos-tahoe/') clearly illustrated the biggest implementation gaffe made:

Has performance improved at all? When I did a fresh install on my base-model M2 MacBook Air (256 GB storage, 8 GB RAM), Tahoe felt extremely slow and the performance hit was significant. It was the first time I chose to stay on the previous macOS because of performance alone. I had used earlier betas prior to the final release and did not experience anything close to this level of slowdown.

I also tested versions 26.1 and 26.2, but both were still noticeably sluggish. I disabled all of the Magic Glass effects, yet the system still could not match the smoothness of the previous macOS version.

Agree that looks/can look bad. Remember wondering what that green thing in the corner was that could be seen even if the frontmost windows was zoomed to fill the screen but then I realized it was a part of my desktop image being visible because the window corners are so round now.
