These definitely don't move all that quickly and pile up. My iPad Pro M4 has an April 2024 manufacturing date and an April 2025 first-use date :oops:

My wife's new Air only has a 1 month gap between manufacture date and first use.

They’re just too f’n expensive now. Why would you buy a iPP over a 14” MBP now? They need to get back to the 1k price range OR they need to run macOS in addition to justify their cost.
