My mom uses an iPad as her only computer at home, I replaced her iPad 5th gen with a 9th gen last year and she loves it. She still uses her 5th gen, now she has an upstairs iPad for her bedroom to watch some shows and keeps the new one in the main area as her computer lol.
Ditto. I use mine as a glorified gaming device, so no need for me to shell out any more money. May use it for internet, but if I'm at home, I use my desktop PC. If on the road, I'll have my Chromebook on my for heavier sessions, or just use my phone for "quickies".
Only thing is wifi only--cellular model not available (I always buy the cell model for the GPS chip).
