1's & 2's fit perfectly in the ear. Need a way to test 3's fit before committing. If I go into the store does Apple have a little cover for your ear like that cheesy foot cover used at shoe stores?

14 day free trial is the best way. Tried AirPods Pro last month, AirPods 3 this month. Loved them but returned them anyway yesterday because I thought they were just too much money at $190 with tax. Jumped on the Amazon deal this morning. Still expensive, but as I said, I do like them. Didn't see it here. Just thought I would do a price tracking site this morning. Thought the sound and comfort was better than the Pro model. Also tried a Beats earpod, the one with the loop, and the new Amazon ones. Hated both.

^^^This, everyone. Got some for my father for Christmas. Loved em except that they wouldn't stay in his ears. Had to return them and get set of AirPods Pro.

I initially thought they were too bulbous but I’ve grown used to them. I only had EarPods to compare them to so they felt loose as if they weren’t going to stay in.

After learning to insert, then rotate them backward slightly (so stem faces forward) they are very comfortable. I forget I have them in sometimes and I can sleep with them in when using my bedtime app. Your mileage may vary but figured I’d share my experience.

I don’t think they offer in-store try-ons.
