I had an original Apple Pencil with the original iPad Pro and later sold them. I now have the 2nd gen Apple Pencil I bought for the 2018 iPad Pro. It's crazy to me that Apple has never once reduced the prices. 5 plus years later the original Apple Pencil is still $99. I would have figured it would have got some sort of price reduction over time to get into more hands, especially when the entry level iPads gained support. Then again, looking at the AppleTV market and pricing, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
