Stewart will once again host a current affairs show, exploring topics at the center of national conversation. There's no title yet for the series, which will feature hourlong single-subject episodes. Stewart and former HBO chief Richard Plepler will serve as executive producers.

During his 20 year tenure at Comedy Central, Stewart won more than 20 Emmys and served as a major voice in American political satire. Since he left "The Daily Show," he has served as an executive producer for "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" and has appeared on other talk shows.

The series won't feature daily or weekly episodes, but will have a companion podcast as part of Apple's efforts to develop original podcast content.

Will Apple allow Stewart to say some of the words he uttered as host of The Daily Show or will Apple consider them inappropriate since Apple wants TV+ to be a wholesome family oriented platform?
Clearly you haven't watched any of ATV+.

Finally, you've changed my mind about TV+, Apple.

I never watched Jon Stewarts show because I was never into that. But ever since you-know-who became you-know-what, I felt like I missed out on a generation of TV.

This is awesome news! Jon Stewart is a national treasure. He did such a good job with The Daily Show (back then I made a point of watching every day), poking holes in things. Will be looking forward to this.

Like the F word? Or the B word? Or S word? You are way out of line if you think you can pass judgment on Apple having clearly never seen any content from TV+. Morning Show has copious obscene language. Many other shows have colorful language as well, including the wholesome Ted Lasso.
