Apple Releases iPhone OS 4.1 Beta 2 to Developers

Apple has released the second beta for iPhone OS 4.1 to developers. The first beta was released two weeks ago and introduced some minor new features. Today's beta seems to only add minor bug fixes into the mix without any notable other features.
The iPhone 4 proximity sensor issue does not appear to be fixed in this latest beta. Apple has said the proximity sensor will be addressed in a future software update.

Please please please let us know if it addresses the proximity sensor issue.
So far no change that I can notice. Maybe later at night, when I start fidling with it.

I can't duplicate the problem with the proximity sensor after updating to 4.1 Beta 2. I'll keep playing with it, may be placebo effect. I don't notice any other changes in the iOS yet.

It seems to kick in (for most people) on longer phone calls. The real test is if you can try and line up the sensor with your inner ear - as in the sensor is pointed directly into your ear canal and see if you can see the screen turning on.
With my week 27 (upgrded from week 25) phone I've yet to have a problem with my sensor except when putting it on my shoulder.
