Mac OS X 10.4.11 In the Works?
ThinkSecret briefly claims that Apple will released another Tiger (10.4) update:

Apple released Mac OS X 10.4.10 in June 2007, and expects to release Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) in October 2007.
Apple is preparing to release another update to Tiger ahead of Leopard's release, Think Secret has learned, although details of the Mac OS X 10.4.11 update are otherwise scarce at the moment.

No details are given, but TS is reporting that 10.4.11 is in the works. No huge surprise here, given that we're still several months away from Leopard.

After reading about USB external disk mounting problems, I have skipped 10.4.10. "If it ain't broken..." motto coming back to me.
This is coming from ThinkSecret and 10.4.11 is going to arrive sooner or later, so this could easily be a speculation rather than a rumor.

Perhaps the update correcting the issues with airport and MacBooks is what they took to be 10.4.11. Just a thought.

Usually they release one last update before the next OS comes out, for compatibility I think, so this makes sense.. and dang does OS X need it, too! The OS (at least for me) feels like with each update it gets less and less stable
