Good to see some price drop but its still lagging some others enough to make me think its not enough... Dell 24" for example is mid way cost between the Apple 20 and 23.
Shame 20 isn;t HD as well.
And no 17"...surely we need one of those.

yes sadly the dell screens are still better value for money, but at least apple have lowered the price a bit, it will stop scaring away buyers.

Did the price on the 23 even drop? The only one I notice is the 20, which used to be $1249CDN and is now $999CDN. Very tempting. I would have also hoped for a drop in the price of the 23 though.

Yes, a 15-17" widescreen, maybe with only a USB hub and not FW to cut cost, would be a nice option for the Mini--as well as PowerBook owners and even some PowerMac people who are spending the max on performance and have to cut corners on display cost.
Anyway, the 30" hasn't dropped in price directly--but it's $450 cheaper now if you get the top PowerMac and don't want the costly 6800 Ultra upgrade. You no longer need that upgrade: the stock GPU (Radeon 9650) will now handle the 30" :)

I'm having kittens. I just bought my 20" on Saturday, from the Towson store. There's no way I can retroactively get some money back. Is there?

mmmm Cinema Display goodness. Good thing I have my IT department prepped to buy a new Dual G5 and ACD in Q2. Looks like Dell has been lowering their prices on displays as well. I know Apple wants to charge a premium but from what I've been reading Dell's quality is comparable. I'll still have my company but the Apple display just on principle.

Go in with your receipt, they should have no issues with adjusting the price. Just do it in the next couple of days or so.89 months ago
