After announcing a new iPad mini today, Apple is expected to introduce updated iMac and 14-inch MacBook Pro models on Tuesday, both with the M6 chip that debuted in the new Mac mini in August. No design changes have been rumored for these Macs. Finally, higher-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with touch-enabled OLED displays are expected to be announced on Wednesday.

Don't know why Apple is not having an event that is streamed online. Touch screen MacBooks (for the higher end 14" and 16") is a big change. Thought there will be an event. Maybe under new CEO, this new form of event where only select personnel are invited and the release is through an Apple Newsroom post will become the new norm. Only real event might be the iPhone event.
Now offering attractive rates on loans for new MacBooks
I very much hope that whatever real event they do going forward will be a live one on stage with an audience, not these plasticky soulless pre-recorded videos that look like ai slop.
Excited to see new iMacs launching soon. Will probably be buying one. Not expecting to see anything different other than a new chip. Hopefully the colours will be bright. Think there could be a $100 increase, similar to the mini and it would still offer only 256GB storage.

I’m really happy that I was able to transform my iMac Pro into a 5K monitor. Now, no matter which Mac I connect, it will always feel like an iMac Pro featuring Apple's iconic design created by Jony Ive. They will probably never make an iMac Pro again, just like the Mac Pro. If they can sell you a monitor plus a Mac Studio or Mini, there is no way they’ll sell an all-in-one with such powerful hardware again for a reasonable price.
When will an iMac Pro drop?
