64GB is more than enough for most people. They make sales on high capacity models because they don't sell as well as base models.
With respect - 16gb/32gb/64gb entry points have never been about "enough for most people".

It's all just pricing strategy to get low entry points.

They make a PILE of money on very very overpriced component upgrades (ram/storage)

This is the best price we've ever tracked on this version of the 10.2-inch iPad, and only Amazon is offering this steep of a discount at this time. We aren't currently tracking any markdowns on the 64GB Wi-Fi model.
Well, good. 64GB is too little space to get with any new iPad. 128GB might be sufficient, but Apple doesn't offer that amount of storage. It's good for Amazon to ignore the 64GB iPad in their sales.

The only iOS device where 64GB makes sense is the Apple Studio Display ('https://www.macrumors.com/2022/03/21/studio-display-contains-64gb-storage/').

4GB more RAM than the previous Air, 2GB more RAM than the previous Pro, or 10GB more if you get the 1TB Pro.
Remember the days when Apple wasn't about spec comparisons in this way?

It's sort of ironic that's now become a talking point to justify these extremely incremental updates.
