I know many people knock these for price. I have owned many low to high end keyboards for iPad. I have to vouch for the Magic Keyboard. This definitely is the best iPad keyboard I have owned. Really excels above the rest and was worth every penny.

People are turned off by the price. It's like how the HomePod has insanely good sound but doesn't sell because of its terrible price. Apple is too confident with these crazy prices.

I got the Magic Keyboard 12.9 at $350 and yes the price is stupid but it's the best apple accessory I ever bought. AirPods Pro a close second.
With you. I went back and forth when the Magic Keyboard came out, even bought the Smart Folio Keyboard, which I liked but still ended up biting the $350 bullet. It is my favorite Apple accessory hands down. Gave the SFK to my wife for her 12.9. I can see how the smaller one is a tougher price pill to swallow, especially for the Air users. I'm just hoping the 2021 iPad Pro works with the Magic Keyboard. If it does, I'll buy the 2021, if not, I'll hold on to my 2018.

Maybe they are discounting this and not the 12.9" MK because the new iPad Pro will only be a 12.9" model and they want the 11" MK pricing to better fit in line with the $600 Air.

That or they have way too many of the 11" MKs. AT $300 might have been a slow seller for people with an Air or cheaper iPad Pro.

and maybe they are coming out with a new MK already.

$200 is completely perfect... for Apple pricing. I think I spent $185 on my last "smart cover", and this basically does everything that does w/ a trackpad, a better stand, backlit keys, and an extra charging port. I honestly wish they were both like $100 off as their normal prices. Then again, the Logitech version w/ trackpad is now out for both so I don't think there's as much pressure on Apple to chop these any further.

One would think the deals would signal a new Magic Keyboard coming, but that wouldn’t make sense as the iPad Air is compatible with the Magic Keyboard as well. At the cost, it’s not surprising the Magic Keyboards are not fast sellers, but it’s an amazing product.

Certainly the best but it's hard to compare against a $12 keyboard (Aliexpress)
