The answer to both questions is "no." Source: I actually bought mine on amazon dot com and the card would not work on the Canadian iTunes store. I'm currently on the phone with Amazon dot com to try and recover my money. What a waste of time.

On a side note: if anyone knows of a Canadian distributor who offers iTunes card at a discount, please hit me up.
Costco Canada, your welcome :D

Ugh, thanks. Good luck!
Costco Canada has comparable if not better deals for iTunes gift cards.

Similar question. I want to get one for someone who lives in another country. Old answers online seem to indicate that that won’t work— it would only be good for the US store. Any indication that that has changed in recent years?
You can check out various resellers of gift cards at a discount, conduct a search. I prefer not to provide specific names even though I am not affiliated to any of them. :)

I miss the days when 20% off was more commonplace, but if you have an Amazon CC you get another 5% back as rewards.

how much did you spend tho?
$85 for a $100 gift card. Amazon was no use to me at all, as it was a third-party (Apple) card. So now I'm on the phone with Apple. It's not looking good. This may very well end up being $100 I won't be able to use until I go to the U.S.

would i be able to buy this and use on a UK account?
Get down to Tesco. 15% of £50 cards or 10% off lower value ones.
