Don't people realize this is combination of whatever is popular and paid-for placements? Or do people actually think getting someone a "Rand McNally OverDryve Connected Car System" is a good gift idea?

These are all fairly expensive presents. To top it off I would only really want (don't need at all) the done or the 4k TV. The list seems about them selling that what something that would actually make sense as a present.
