Software Tidbits...

To distract you from the continued countdown (1 day, 1
hr, 14 mins at the time of this posting) to the Expo
Keynote... here are a couple of things to keep you
busy...

Quake v1.0 has been ported to
OS X (software rendering only). You'll need "http://www.teamfortress.org/~tomg/linux/
shareware.html">the shareware PAK
file to get it
working.

Also, here's a Config file
for SlashDock v1.4 which
will let you have MacRumors headlines pop up from a
dockling. Just drag the uncompressed Config file to
your ~/Library/Preferences folder in your user
directory.

An anonymous reader writes that Bungie may demo href="http://www.apple.com/games/trailers/myth3/">
Myth 3
at the expo... "possibly more of thier halo
song and dance".
