I just though I'd pass along the news (and lead into speculation) that the 350 MHz iMacs have been marked as D01 at CompUSA in other words the are discontinued by the manufacture...
Do you think that CompUSA corporate knows something we don't?
NOTE: all other current (did you know they still have PB 3400's in the database?)apple products, including iMac DV and DV SE still show as A01 which means that it is a regular product normally carried by CompUSA
also NOTE: no apple products (MP G4's, new iMacs etc.) show as I01, introductory item soon to be carried by CompUSA or vary new...
one last NOTE: last time i saw an apple product go D01 it was the Lombard's in November! from then till February CompUSA carried NO PowerBook's, they were still easy
to get just not at CompUSA. hmmm
