OK this is ridiculous. There is no good reason why I shouldn't get the wifi syncing I've been demanding from day one. I even emailed Steve about it years ago. So draconian Apple wants me to out and buy a new iPhone to get their crappy new software? Screw them. I'll go buy an Android Galaxy S2 instead.
Lol all my friends who got Android phones never get regular updates to begin with. Not sure how the Galaxy will fare out but I've known people with Samsung, Sony and LG(I think) Android phones who are still at least one major version of Android behind because there is no new firmware for their phone.
Draconian Apple, really? And did you really think emailing the CEO of a company would get you a feature. If you really want it, jailbreak and be happy with what you've had for 3 years.

There's plenty of good reason. You're outdated. That's it. Now go over and enjoy Android. You're not going to be missed.

Apparently not ...
It's pretty simple, your processor isn't fast enough to handle the new OS and all the features well. Just sell it on eBay and buy a new one. I've done that every year with no problem and sometimes even made money doing it.
And, as mentioned above, hardly any consumer electronic devices are upgraded constantly for years.
Yeah, 1. I don't have a developer account, 2. I'm not downloading the betas, 3. Because of #1, I can't access the dev forums. Seriously.
Yes, that's also a point I forgot to make. (Plus I wasn't directing any of it toward you, just a lot of people that are into these betas that aren't devs) So many people in the dev forums aren't actual developers, they're just people that dished out $99 to get access to the betas. I get it that $99 gives them the right to the betas and all, but most of them don't know a single thing about DFU mode, what GSM means, or even how update to a beta. Just felt like venting my female emotions, because it's rather annoying. Very annoying. :)

Awesome. Please come back in 3 years and let me know how long your new S2 continued to receive updates.
