Apple Introduces 160GB Apple TV for $399
In the press release announcing YouTube videos for Apple TV, Apple also reveals that they will be introducing a 160GB Apple TV for $399.
The current Apple TV costs $299 for a 40GB model.
Apple TV, which includes the Apple Remote, is available through the Apple Store (www.apple.com), Apples retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers for a suggested retail price of $299 (US). Apple TV with a 160GB hard drive will be available tomorrow for a suggested retail price of $399 (US). The YouTube feature for Apple TV will be available as a free software update in mid-June.
The current Apple TV costs $299 for a 40GB model.

They need to drop the price of the standard Apple TV.

$399 seems way too expensive for what it does. A price point of $349 would've been better (or just drop the 40GB and sell 160GB at $300 :/)

hahaha...I find it funny that of all updates we were expecting in the coming weeks, the first one is of a product that has only been around for a few months.

$100 for 120GBs = expensive add on. Too bad they don't drop the base price and add a big drive option. 160GB fills up fast.
