Apple quietly updated their iBook line today (confirming a last minute Page 2 rumor) and updated the look of the Apple Store.

The new iBooks now come in 800MHz and 900MHz speeds with 30GB and 40GB drives. The new iBooks do not sport either Firewire 800 or Airport Extreme.

12.1" Screen:

800MHz G3, 128MB, 30GB, CD-Rom, $999.

900MHz G3, 128MB, 40GB, Combo, $1299.

14.1" Screen:

900MHz G3, 256MB, 40GB, Combo, $1499.

This most recent release has been reflected in our MacRumors Buyer's Guide, giving the iBooks a "Buy Now" recommendation for the moment.
