The iPhone.org domain has been registered by Apple for years... spawning much speculation. But other unused domains - such as iKids.com, Mammals.org and MacMate.com have also pointed to Apple's site for years.
Owner details are limited to simply "Apple Computer, Inc" from Australia's Trademark search -- no names/addresses to verify the identity.
