Apple Seeds macOS Golden Gate 27.2 Release Candidate to Developers

Apple is testing the next macOS Golden Gate update, and developers can download the ‌macOS Golden Gate‌ 27.2 release candidate. The RC comes a week after Apple released the fourth beta.

Registered developers can download ‌macOS Golden Gate‌ 27.2 by opening up the System Settings app, clicking on General, selecting Software Update, and opting into ‌macOS Golden Gate‌ betas.

‌macOS Golden Gate‌ 27.2 introduces Siri AI in new languages and includes new brightness and volume sliders.

We're expecting ‌macOS Golden Gate‌ 27.2 to launch toward the end of October.

Even. Chat GPT recommended keeping my M4 Pro MBP on Tahoe for now. I’ll let GG mature a bit. Sounds like Apple doesn’t quite have the bugs worked out yet.

LOL chat gpt recommended. Chat gpt just crawls all the online data, also a lot of platforms like Reddit, where are heavy discussions about bad battery life after each single .1 update. That’s just awful and mostly bs.

Do you think the AI stuff that much annoying? I think it's pretty ok on the apple devices, by far not as annoying as on Windows with this Copilot trash.

I do not have any use case for it, nothing that has been made available thus far would be helping me improving my life, this is for me personally.
AI is a tool, useful for some but not so much for others. I want to be able to install a tool and not have it shoved down my throat.

Safari has gotten sometimes very laggy with Golden Gate, on top of problems with wifi connectivity. Super annoying, I truly hope that the update would bring a fix.

I'll stay on Tahoe on my Studio until there is an easy toggle to turn "AI" off like there's in Tahoe.
