I have had one of these for years and I'm at the point now where I really can't use a mouse easily. It's probably the best pointer device, for me.

The iMac ships with a matching mouse, so yeah, it's weird that you can't get a matching trackpad. Also, the design of the latest keyboards has a way larger corner radius and they look odd side by side. I personally don't care about either of these things but Apple is usually pretty obsessive about these kinds of aesthetic details.
Apple updated Magic Trackpad 2 with more rounded corner radius in May of last year, with SKU MK2D3AM/A.

It looks like this Woot deal is the older one, with SKU MJ2R2LL/A.

I love Magic Trackpad 2. I wish I can charge it with USB-C though. Otherwise, it's perfect.

Hopefully, the black version will be discounted soon.

I'm kind of surprised they haven't released a version of this that matches the newer iMacs and the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID.

Been hoping to get one of these for a while but the price was always so high...certainly pricey even discounted but worth it at least at this price! (Debating buying two - one for work and one for home!)
