I want a new streaming box. Currently have a gen-3 ATV which is fine for HD stuff, but I have a 4K TV, and am not enamored with my smart TV’s interface.

I think I’ll wait and see what Apple comes out with and either get that or, if I’m not impressed, the current model at an even bigger discount.

Apple should just reduce the MSRP already. Nobody is going to pay the original MSRP after seeing it go on sale so often.

They’ll keep in the line up at a reduced price, and introduce a newer model

$120-$130 seems to be the sweet spot. Many discounts on Apple TV recently. A new one might be coming soon.
