Seen an awful lot of these best ever price articles.

Whenever I've paid enough attention they always been for 8G RAM models.

My assumption is that Apple are struggling to sell them and are trying hard to reduce their inventory.
I haven't seen a 16 GB M1 Air or Pro on sale, ever. Which makes the price bump to 16 GB seem even more outrageous.

Why are there never any deals on the 1 TB models??
The deals are for people who are price sensitive, particularly compared to many Windows machines.

Only Gold color is available immediately. Silver and Grey say JULY. Not that great a deal to wait over a month.
I ordered mine in November and it arrived late January, but I wanted more memory, more SSD and the extra GPU. The Space gray finish works well

No point reducing prices if you can't make enough of them anyway...
