Today we are introducing a new type of page here on MacRumors called "Roundups". We've started with a detailed roundup on the much anticipated iPhone 5. In the near future, we expect to expand these pages to cover all of Apple's products.
While MacRumors has always been a great rumor resource, we've long felt that it's been too difficult for visitors to catch-up with the latest news on a particular product. Even amongst our daily readers, we find people often lose sight of the big picture after seeing rumor after rumor. Our popular Buyer's Guide helps bridge that gap to some degree, but our new Roundup pages should take it to the next step.
The new Roundups will be more casual and to-the-point than our historical pre-event roundups. Rather than covering every possibility, we will focus on what we personally expect to happen. The other major distinction is that our Roundups will be posted early and be continuously updated week-to-week to reflect the latest rumors. The goal is that they will always reflect the current rumor outlook on any particular Apple product.
Roundups can be accessed using the Roundups navigation tab at the top of the site and we will introduce more Roundups over time.

T-Mobile will charge customers $5 per month to use iPhone Handoff, an e-SIM feature that allows the same phone number to be used on two separate iPhones.
iPhone Handoff requires carrier support, and at launch, only T-Mobile users in the U.S. and Deutsche Telekom users in Germany will be able to use it.

As noted by Nicolas Lellouche, who writes for the French tech website Numerama, Apple has updated its tech specs pages for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max to clarify which models are equipped with its new C2 cellular modem and where.
Apple now says the iPhone 18 Pro has a C2 modem worldwide, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max uses the chip in every country except for the U.S.

Production theater company IMAX has responded in a mixed way to Apple's embrace of a 1:1.4 aspect ratio on the iPhone Duo's inner and outer displays. The boxier ratio happens to be very close to the classic "full-frame" IMAX 1.43:1 aspect ratio, which comes from the geometry of the company's original 15-perforation/70mm film system.

Are you joking? Do you really believe MR is holding out on other apple rumors to saturate us with iPhone stuff? Maybe were not getting new iMac news because there is none. Im sure if there was news out there, MR would post it. The new iPhone is the hottest, most highly anticipated tech device in the entire world right now. Of course were gonna hear about it. And I agree that its starting to get repetitive, but so what. It's better then having no new stories at all. Relax and enjoy the hype. When there's other Apple product news, MR is gonna let you know about it.
