Mac OS X Tiger Arriving

Several readers are reporting that their Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger orders have shipped from the Apple Store. This first official batch of Mac OS X 10.4 orders is expected to arrive today. Several users have already received their copies of Mac OS X 10.4 due to some unintentional early shipments.

On April 29th, Apple will be officially hosting the worldwide release with events at Apple Stores and Apple Retailers. There will be drawings for iPods and PowerBook giveaways as well as free door prizes. These are expected to include Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger T-Shirts.

Meanwhile, Appleinsider reports that Mac OS X 10.4.1 is on track for delivery by May.
