Apple at its annual fall iPhone event has revealed that the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models will be available in four new colors.
Apple describes the new colors as a Deep Black, a refined Silver, a new Glacier Blue, and Burgundy – calling the latter a "sophisticated and unique new color" that's obviously meant to be a successor to the iPhone 17 Pro's Cosmic Orange.
In addition, the rear aluminum and Ceramic Shield glass area are now more color-matched compared to the iPhone 17 Pro models, which had a noticeable glazed effect on the rear of the devices.
Apple is still describing the design and features of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, with the Apple event ongoing as we write.

Apple has asked some of its suppliers to cut production of iPhone 18 Pro components due to lower-than-expected demand, according to Nikkei Asia ($).
Citing its own sources, the report claims that Apple has been more cautious about shipments since early September because of the rising cost of memory chips, leading to higher prices. Component orders for October were said to have been cut by...
Apple shares fell more than 2.5% in early trading today in response to Nikkei Asia's report that the company is cutting iPhone 18 Pro component orders due to weaker-than-expected demand. October orders were reportedly reduced by at least 15%, with higher memory costs and $100 price increases weighing on...
In a statement shared with MacRumors on Friday, Apple said that iPhone 18 Pro Max users who have experienced an issue where AT&T cellular service does not work will need to have the device replaced, as the issue apparently cannot be fixed with a software update once it has occurred. This requirement is a big deal, as it hints at hardware failure, but we lack details since Apple and AT&T have yet...
Oof, very, very sad about the burgundy. This isn't a final judgment but from the video, I don't know how they managed to choose such an unappealing shade of red. There were a half-dozen mockups on MacRumors in the past year that looked much nicer than this. I can't believe they seem to have learned nothing from the massive popularity of last year's orange. Why are they so boring??
Burgundy is a super trendy colour - every design brand has been pushing it this year. It’s absolutely unsurprising. Looks very cool in autumn. I dig it. Both burgundy and orange can get tiring over time - more so than a silver or black obviously. Can’t wait to see it in person. Also - burgundy makes the best wine.
