Good computers. Not sure whether there will be better prices later on especially when there is always a chance that Apple might increase the prices further.

The current ask is $800 more than mine retailed for at one point and $1,000 more than I'm into mine for (got my 24/1TB 15" lightly preowned)

I ended up "settling" for a 13-inch MacBook Air 24GB/1TB for $1,299 on June 30th with no tax from AAFES/Shop My Exchange since my dad is retired Army.

Outstanding machine! I had that exact one before deciding I really wanted 15" for my needs and aging eyes and desire for a bit more screen when I'm in laptop mode.

Admittedly, I'm in "docked to a huge OLED" mode 95% of the time, so it wasn't a huge issue.

Yup. I was watching those Amazon price drops like a hawk, but they'd typically happen at night while I was asleep. So by the time I woke up, the deal was gone. And when I DID get a notification in time (the 15-inch deal I linked first), the deal was geo-locked. So it wasn't available for me to purchase in North Carolina. By the time that I scrambled to have it sent to my uncle in Baltimore, the deal was dead.
