The Steam sales always seems to sell Civ 5 at 75% off (i.e. I think most people who would be interested in it, have it).

Actually, we never put "Complete" on sale for 75% off. This is a special deal for MacRumors readers whom we've really enjoyed engaging over the past couple of years. I honestly think you guys have made us a better company. :apple:

I'm currently living outside the US and I definitely want to purchase this... will it work outside the US?

I just bought it from NZ and it worked. It's a better deal than the Steam sales mentioned above as you get the cheaper US price without Steam's "foreign tax".

one question, Is this Civilization V only works on Mac? or both PC and Mac?
cause I guess there's no option for buy only Mac version in Steam.

I bought it and it works on Mac, PC, and Linux.

----------

Just to confirm, this is a Steam code which is SteamPlay compatible so also includes the PC and Linux versions?

You are correct. It works on Mac, PC, and Linux. I just bought this last night.
