Apple has started selling iTunes Gift Certificates through their online Apple Store
iTunes Gift Certificates were introduced alongside iTunes for Windows on October 16th. Gift Certificates were created to allow iTunes users to send pre-set amounts of iTunes Music Store credit to anyone with an email address.
Reportedly, the Gift Certificate technology permitted the purchase of iTunes Songs by those outside the U.S. borders and even created a black-market on eBay for these items.
Users of the Gift Certificates are still expected to follow the iTunes Terms of Service which expressly forbid the usage outside the United States.
Apple has stated that they do intend to launch the iTunes Music Store outside the U.S., but the timeframe for this is still uncertain. (Europe?, Canada?)
Last year, Apple launched CarPlay Ultra, the long-awaited next-generation version of its CarPlay software system for vehicles. Nearly a year later, CarPlay Ultra is still limited to Aston Martin's latest luxury vehicles, but that should change fairly soon.
