Outlook of OS X and Unix Apps
MacCentral Online has posted an article discussing the likely scenario of standard Unix apps migrating to OS X. In short, the future looks bright. The significant role that GNU apps play, even in current and past developer previews of OS X, is discussed, as is the role NeXTStep played in basically becoming OS X.
