Gimped by 16GB memory. Apple floods 3rd party sales channel with trash configs.
Not sure if you’re being serious or not. I have this exact machine and I can’t get it to slow down ever. This is plenty of RAM for all but those specific people who KNOW they need more.

Notice how they don't discount the base model.

It's too similar to the 2022 model and will undercut its sales. ?
Costco has it for $1,599 until 2/10/23. It's out of stock online ('https://www.costco.com/macbook-pro-(14-inch)---apple-m1-pro-chip-with-8-core-cpu-and-14-core-gpu%2C-512gb-ssd-.product.100713178.html?qid=82888cd3a70911ed80fa008c0a1cb829&cjevent=82888cd3a70911ed80fa008c0a1cb829') so you'll need to check what in-store inventory is like.

Normally, Amazon would have it for $1,599 to match Costco's price. At least that's how it usually went. But since Costco shows out of stock, Amazon has no reason to discount it.

There probably aren't too many of this model left in the channel since they were blowing them out during the latter half of 2022.
