iTunes Europe Update

Reuters reports on Apple's ongoing efforts to launch iTunes Europe this year.

Apple's European chief, Pascal Cagni, promised "When we launch in Europe, we want to do it well". According to Cagni, they are still aiming for a 2004 release but acknowledges a few month delay.

Previous rumors had indicated that licensing issues have been holding back the launch of the European service.
