New Adobe Licensing/Upgrade Terms?
Jeff writes "I just got off the phone with a software licensing specialist from Adobe about an upgrade we want to do at the company I work for. We are planning to spend over $10000 on upgrades, and he was telling me it would be a good idea to have the order in within the week, as Adobe will be announcing new licensing and VLP and upgrade policies, and they won't be as competitive as they are now! This is scary, esp when you consider how they tried to railroad users with inDesign 1.5 upgrades. I see a bad trend forming. Microsoft isn't the only monopoly out there!
