Loss of TheMacAd.com

In case you missed it, TheMacAd.com has disappeared. Along with it, we've lost the best database of Apple Quicktime commericals around. Beyond the standard fare (1984, Think Different), they also housed Apple IIgs and Newton commercials!

We're not sure why they disappeared... it's possible Apple legal could have been involved. We're attempting to recreate this massive database, so are looking for contributions. If you've downloaded some of these rare advertisments, or know an alternative source... let us know (macad@macrumors.com).
