Previously unheard of site macool is claiming that new iPods are shipping from Chinese factories. While some pictures are provided of trucks outside of a factory, none of the supplied pictures at this time can verifiably prove the claims made (hence this story's placement on page 2).
If true however, an Apple announcement regarding iPods next Tuesday could be met with in stock models either the same day or later in the week.

Update — 10 a.m. Pacific Time: Apple has released iOS 27.
During its iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo event last week, Apple announced that iOS 27 will be released widely on Monday, September 14.
