McDonald's Billion Song iTunes Giveaway?

The New York Post is reporting that McDonald's, the popular fast-food chain, is close to announcing an up to 1 billion iTunes song giveaway in an upcoming marketing campaign.

Apple and Pepsi have already announced a 100-million song giveaway scheduled for Feb 2004.

According to The Post, both Pepsi and McDonald's are paying Apple's retail price of 99cents per song.
