Apple.com/ibook has been updated with new iBook specs:

600mhz or 700mhz PowerPC G3

100MHz system bus

128 or 256MB RAM

20GB or 30GB HD

ATI Mobility Radeon with 16MB or RAM

Apple's Online Store also updated.

The new iBook runs up to 35 percent faster than previous models in CPU performance tests such as encoding a song from an audio CD into an MP3 file using iTunes. iBook also now features a new video-out port that supports VGA output, as well as S-video and composite video with optional adapter.

Note: these new iBooks should be able to run Quartz Extreme (only 16mb VRAM is required). They also appear to utilize new (Sahara?) G3 processors (with 512k L2 cache)
