Apple today added the first-generation Apple TV 4K from 2017 to the vintage products list on its website, just four days before a new model is finally expected to debut.
A fourth-generation Apple TV 4K will reportedly be unveiled on Tuesday, October 13, as part of Apple's "Welcome home" launch.
Sorry for your prolonged pain. I’ve gotten used to the remote over the last nine years and have no complaints about it other than the absence of a jump button.
I’d say RIP to that awful touch remote but I don’t want peace for it. Only eternal torment
No mute button was my first gripe with that remote.
That and the lack of a mute button. I had 4 of those 1st gen 4K models. Bought them right after they came out thinking, "oh these will remain current for a long time." Then like 6 months later they came out with the 2nd gen 4Ks, which remained the current model for almost 4 years.
