LOL! I think its a little different, but its normal. Playstations and Xboxs have for years needed this. Your home computer updates Windows as soon as it turns on and so does your Apple computer. Its to make sure you have the latest and greatest experience. I rather have a company trying to get it right ahead of me having issues, so I just say bravo.
