"During this keynote, [Steve] will announce the release of the Mac OS X public beta. Other major announcements are likely, and Apple expo 2000 is a prime announcement date for the revised iBook. While the PowerBook G4 will not be released until January at soonest, there is still a slim possibility of a speedbumped PowerBook G3 -- sources were uncertain of the probability of such an announcement."
