The feature works by automatically detecting mathematical expressions and currencies, providing instant results within the message composition field or with a tap.
To use Math Notes in Messages, simply type an equation or conversion request followed by an equals sign. The system then instantly calculates the result, streamlining communication when sharing costs, splitting bills, or discussing measurements with friends and family. To get a foreign currency conversion, simply double tap the amount to view a conversion in your local currency in the popup menu. It's that easy.
