Apple's "Gather round" media event will be kicking off at 10:00 AM Pacific tomorrow, and as is tradition some MacRumors readers who can't follow the event live are interested in avoiding all of the announcements and waiting until Apple posts the recorded video of the event so as to experience it without already knowing the outcome.

For those individuals, we've posted this news story, which will be updated with a direct link to the presentation once it becomes available from Apple. No other news stories or announcements will be displayed alongside this story.

Apple has become quicker about making event videos available for replay over the past several years, and videos are now frequently available within an hour of an event's conclusion.

Users waiting for the video to be posted are welcome to gather in the thread associated with this news story, and we ask that those who follow the events refrain from making any posts in the thread about Apple's announcements.

Video Posted: A direct link to the video file is now available, with no spoilers.

The Keynote is streamed live. Hence the need for a "spoiler free" newsfeed has become a bit redundant, if you ask me. I still think it's a nice service provided by MacRumers though, but it made so much more sense, back then when the only ones in the know where the attendees at the Keynote it self. Now we can all see it directly ourselves. If you don't have the time to watch it directly, well then you don't have the time, and need, to be active in this specific thread. Am I missing something?
It's provided as a refuge for those members who are unable to watch it live.

Apple Sheds More Light on iOS 17.5 Bug That Resurfaced Deleted Photos

Friday May 24, 2024 2:36 am PDT by
Last week, some iPhone users reported that Apple's iOS 17.5 update had introduced a bug that caused old photos that were deleted to reappear in the Photos app. Apple quickly released an iOS 17.5.1 update to fix the issue, but for many users, its explanation of "database corruption" in the release notes was all too brief, and did little to allay concerns about the privacy of their data.
