Diablo II Resurrected Not Available for Mac

"Diablo 2 Resurrected" is a revamped and remastered version of Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 expansion "Lord of Destruction," which Blizzard first announced during its February 2021 BlizzCon event.


Blizzard is developing Diablo 2 Resurrected for Windows machines, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, but Blizzard does not plan to make Diablo 2 Resurrected available for the Mac. Right now, a "Technical Alpha" version of the game is available on PC, but Mac users are out of luck.

Original versions of Diablo II have been made available on the Mac, so it is not clear why There is no word on why Blizzard has decided not to develop Diablo II Resurrected for Macs. In the past, Blizzard has released its games for Mac at a later date following a standard PC release, but it's not clear if that will happen in this case.
