Apple today began selling its
18W USB-C power adapter as a standalone product. The adapter is priced at $29 in the United States and
$39 in Canada and is also
available internationally with various plug types.
This is the same power adapter
bundled with the latest 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models released in November. When paired with a Lightning to USB-C cable, it can be used to fast charge the latest iPhone models, including the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR.

Odd, shouldn't my apartment, office, and parents' house have burned down/been electrocuted by now?
No, not a USB-C to lightning cable.
That would defeat the whole purpose of being “universal.”
Get with it already Apple.
no extension option like the 12w :(
Hence why i’ll Stick to 30W USB-C.

Can iPhone 7 series charge at 18W? I find my iPhone 7 Plus charges at nearly the same speed whether on the included 5W charger or a 12W iPad charger.
iPhone 7 doesn’t have fast charging. The 12W does charge your iPhone faster than the 5W.
