Apple's AirPods are seeing a rare and notable discount today at two retailers, with the wireless earphone accessory marked down to $144.99 at both Amazon and Adorama.

Straight discounts on AirPods don't come around very often and these are all-time-low prices for the accessory at both retailers, although they have been slightly cheaper for those using sitewide discount codes at places like eBay. Hopefully the AirPods discounts are because they're going to release that newer version soon that has the wireless charging case. Hopefully since they announced it a year ago they have upgraded it in other ways too like a newer W2 chip which makes the range even better and helps improve battery life a little bit to maybe 6 hours per charge?
